While traditional bulk RNA-seq provides an average gene expression profile across a population of cells, it often obscures crucial biological insights by masking the diversity within a sample. scRNA-seq, in contrast, offers unprecedented resolution by enabling the analysis of gene expression at the individual cell level.

This program champions research that leverages the power of scRNA-seq to provide high-resolution insights into cellular heterogeneity, revealing biological complexity often missed by bulk RNA-seq.

Eligibility
– Limited to the first 30 applicants on a first-come, first-served basis
– Open to first-time users of 10x Genomics technology
– Applicants must be based in Malaysia
– Each research project is eligible for only one application
– Experiments must be conducted by the applicant or their research team

Application & Evaluation
– Application deadline: 11 July 2025
– Submissions will be reviewed based on scientific merit, feasibility, and relevance to single-cell technology
– Successful applicants will be notified by a program representative and entitled to program benefits

Program Benefits & Conditions
– Discounts apply exclusively to selected 10x Genomics single-cell kits and consumables
– Purchase must be completed by 30th November 2025 to qualify for discounts
– The subsidy or discount is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and does not apply to past purchases
– Demo instrument placements are subject to availability and may require separate agreements or scheduling confirmation

Publication & Acknowledgement
– Recipients must acknowledge the support received through this program in any publications or presentations of project results
